A parents fright of their life
A parents fright of their life.
My 3 year daughter was keen to use this toilet and step trainer. I was concerned up on the assembly process due to the plastic use.
It’s 2am in the morning and all you get woken up is by a bang and your daughter crying, laying on the floor in their own urine. What happened? The left side snapped off by both screw parts and the toilet seat cracked. Pictures have been sent via email and a review of the product has been left on your website. This is a health and safety issue and will be taken further. I expect refund compensation and an apology!

embarrassment by an employee
On the 13th of July 2022, my friends and I went into the store at the romford brewery to get gifts for our little siblings. On entering the store, we were immediately stopped by the black security officer by the door. He intimidatingly asked us our age and said the store was meant for only children. We decided to ignore the fact that it was rude and a bit offensive. While we were at the store, he kept staring at us and it made us very uncomfortable, we then had to leave the store. As we about to leave, the same security officer stopped us at the door and started questioning us in a very rude manner. He rudely asked if we ended up getting anything from the store before clearing the way for us to leave. This is very unacceptable and poor as you shouldn’t let anyone let alone a customer to feel this uncomfortable in the store.

Was a funko problem but smyths helped me
A huge thank you to the croydon staff who were so helpful. I took back a funko soda i had ordered online from smyths that had the wrong item inside that funko themselves would not help me with.but the amazing staff at croydon helped me right away with a replacement. A very happy customer

Susan-car seat
We have been byuing a car seat for our little one from the branch in West Thurrock Retail park in Essex.
It was the 2nd car sear as he outgrew the previous one.
The help we got and advice was briliant. A lady names Susan was soooo helpful. She even installed the car seat to our car. She was absolutely amazing and she is a true asset to the company.
Our customer experience was briliant and I can just recommend her for helping in any question you might have.

The worst experience I have ever had…
The worst experience I have ever had the store manger needs some help with how to deal with customers and learn how to treat them with respect RABBI Is the worst manger I have came across in my life.

He’s
Regional manager or divisional manager needs to keep a close eye on him.

Send him on a trust issues course and stop calling customers Liars and accuse customers in front of people in the shop
Disgusting.


Never ever going back there again
I hope there is someone whos actually knows the moral of the business and knows how to represent the company Image by delivering a great service not accusing customers of lying

Amazing customer service
Needed help with a new car seat and went to Smyths Greenbridge in Swindon. I asked a staff member to help and she stopped what she was doing and helped us. She helped us for nearly 2 hours, answered questions, gave us tips and was so helpful, we walked out with a car seat that suited us and our budget. Her name is Amanda and I cannot recommend her enough for the fantastic service she gave us. Nothing was too much trouble and she even fitted the new seat in our car for us before we left. Thank you so much.

Will not return a faulty item even…
Will not return a faulty item even though bought within 30 days and have reciept and box it is electronic and has intermittent faulty lights and sound but as they could not see fault they will not refund. This companies return policy definitely definitely needs investigation by trading standards as the do not follow sale of goods act law ! Person in front had issue with pram and they even made her put baby in another pram to push to prove her pram not faulty !!!!! Disgusting

Willing to leave a baby in a faulty pram, disgusting customer service.
Cannot believe how I have been treated in your tammworth store this morning. My pram that I have used for 4 months has broken and your manager is telling me that I'm a liar! Your customer service phone line originally told me that they would be more than happy to refund or exchange the product and now in store they wouldn't do anything. After ringing customer services again they are willing to swap the frame . After being treated absolutely appaling, being ignored by every member of staff and then being given death stairs every time i look up, all because i want a pram for my son to go into! Absolutely disgusting customer service amd will never purchase another product from this company again! UK172166460 is the order number

Smyths Charlton HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOT RECOMMENDED
Smyths Charlton - Some staff are rude and unhelpful to the point where I have had to stop shopping in here. Such a shame as I work for a charity that buys in bulk two to three times a year but we now buy our goods elsewhere. Upon picking up a number of items from the discounted section we were told we could not buy two of the items as they were ‘TOO CHEAP’ and could not be sold at the prices labelled. They then suggested we had ‘swapped the labels’ to make them cheaper. Upon asking to speak with manager to complain and suggest they check their CCTV we were not supported with our complaint about the lack of professionalism and false allegations made by staff. Hence as a charity we made a staff decision not to use Smyths to buy items for the children in future. Absolutely dreadful way to treat customers. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED. AVOID!!!

I Recently Went To The St.Margaret's Retail Park Branch Of Smyth's - Soon As I Walked Into The Branch And Got Greeted By "GLYNN" And Needed To Get A Birthday Gift For My Youngest Nephew Ronnie - Play-Doh Kitchen, And After That "GLYNN" Said,"Do You Need Anything Else - I Said,"No,But Thankyou Very Much!" - I Went To The Till And Was Pleasantly Greeted By "BETH",She Said,"Did You Find Everything You Wanted?!" I Said,"Yes - Thankyou!" - Handed Over The Cash And BETH Said See You Again Soon.

Horrible experience with Peterborough store manager and car seat for one year old
Horrible experience with this store . Purchased two car seats and was demonstrated how to use then both in store . No offer to demonstrate in car or fit it in car . When we fitted it into car realised one of them wasn’t fitting well . We decided we wanted to return it as we were not happy as it shook from side to side. Went in today . 2 days after buying it and told they Do not accept returns for car seats , even though we were told to keep the receipt and paperwork to prove we had seen a demo so we could return it if needed . To cut a long story short , the manager made out It was my fault as we fitted the car seat at home ( even though they did not offer ) and then To make matters worse , we was told when buying the seat , our 1 year could stay in it rear facing until she was four , to be told today she would need to be forward facing in a few months … the whole reason we bought it was because she could stay rear facing until she was four not a few more months 😡thankfully Victoria came and saved the day and was amazing and solved the problem. , however the manager did not help . His condescending and patronising nature towards me was disgusting . I have looked all over the small print of the website and cannot find anywhere that they do not accept car seat returns . They need to broadcast this and make sure staff in the car seat and baby section are fully trained , offer all the demos and know there stuff . Would recommend seeing Victoria for baby stuff but not smyths Peterborough

Expensive but quality
